Stay and look closely.
Mana gives you presence and clarity.

Tropical jungle and the sound of the Azorean Atlantic

Stay—be present and listen

Especially when the thicket of the subconscious reveals itself. The permission to feel what lies hidden beneath the deep, dark-green leaves of the tropical forest.
To access this full power means uncovering unconscious hide-and-seek games, bringing them into visibility. To increase our own visibility in the world.
Simply by staying and feeling.
It is a gift and a blessing to be able to feel.
To be your own best friend, no matter what life brings.

On the Azores, the novel about friendship "Auf dem Weg der Freundschaft" was created. You can find it in the MANA FLOW Shop.

Care or:
What is it about indifference?

An island of contrasts

São Miguel (Azores) reveals itself as an island of contrasts — made visible through a rich palette of colors, a diversity of moods, and primal forces of nature. Deep green forests, waterfalls, ferns growing meters high, and black volcanic soil as well as hot springs meet stone houses and walls adorned with pastel-colored hydrangea bushes. Blended into this scene is a sea of pink, lily-like flowers from the amaryllis family that carry a tropical fragrance. The amaryllis is a light bearer full of inner pride, blooming in winter and despite all challenges. To me, they appear as a deeply feminine element — almost surreal in this landscape that is lush, yet also raw and sometimes harsh. And yet, they feel perfectly placed, even essential, adding a sense of harmony between feminine and masculine to the island’s symphony. Perhaps it is precisely through their tenderness, grace, and their soft, comforting, maternal character that they contribute to the island’s magic. A special and somewhat complex kind of magic that only reveals itself to me gradually. These flowers feel like a gentle, inviting accent, as if they wanted — and were able — to soften the island’s intensity, wildness, strength, and stone. And they grow in abundance, as if to leave no doubt that one is always well cared for. Holiness and faith grace many doorways, where colorful tilework featuring Jesus, Maria and angels serves as a lasting reminder. A richness that speaks for itself — one that takes time to truly understand.

The significance of care

They remind me of the importance of care. Sometimes I’m surprised by how indifferent we can become — to ourselves (“That’s just how I am.”), to circumstances (“That’s just how it is.”), and to human contradictions (“I separate myself from that. I don’t want anything to do with it.”). How quickly we give up, believing we have no choice or no power. Sometimes it seems to me that we are overwhelmed by the great power we do in fact possess. And that, too, can lead to delusions of grandeur — the most dangerous kind — the illusion that the Earth (including its plants and animals) somehow belongs to us. When I had the privilege of riding a horse (from a family-run stable that has existed for over 500 years on the Azores) into the sunset, my heart remembered again. It is deeply about cultivating a posture of sincere interest. A true compassion and engagement that extends beyond our own lives.

The choice we make

When we are indifferent, we have lost our ability to respond to life. We’ve lost contact with it. How quickly we go numb, or hide behind the walls we’ve built. But do we really not care? That doesn’t change the fact that we’re allowed to say Yes and No on our own terms — but it changes the way we do it. It will never be irrelevant how you do something, and your actions will ripple far beyond just you as an individual. The first image I saw upon arriving at a house was a guardian angel,an “Anjo da Guarda.” But it’s not only we who have guardian angels. We, too, protect and preserve. Especially as human beings with consciousness, it is up to us to show care: for nature, for animals, and for plants.

It is a way of living because it is a choice
we constantly make between
“I care.” and “I don’t".

The channeling of an azorean girl

She was determined to speak with me and followed me closely. She was intense — much like the powerful great snake I dreamed of on my first night in the Azores. That same night, a hurricane swept across the island.

Using a translator on my phone, the girl asked me questions about myself. Eventually, the sentence "You will die on São Miguel" came up. In Portuguese, the words for 'to live' (morar) and 'to die' (morrer) and their conjugations are quite similar.

 A simple translation mistake?

 Rebirth

Dying, embracing change, allowing oneself, permitting Life and living anew, all of that is reflected in the powerful nature of the Azores.

Entering into a growth energy that is provided by the land.

 Roots
1st Chakra

Stand fully on the ground.
Close your eyes to feel whether you are truly balanced. Shift your weight until it is evenly distributed and you can sense the warmth and energy rising from the earth.
Connect the lowest point of your spine with your feet.

Your proper stance is incredibly important.
This is where your deepest calm and absolute sense of security as a human being lie.
Stay here as long as you need, until you feel safe and stable.
(Even if it takes time.)
It changes everything.

 Joy of life
2nd Chakra

Create a nurturing environment for yourself.
This is where you shape your relationship with life.
How do you live?
How do you dwell?
What relationships do you choose?
Your emotions are powerful guides, showing you how well your needs are being met.

Enjoy the joy of creating a beautiful life for yourself—
one that overflows with creativity and meaningful, joyful connection.

 Willpower
3rd Chakra

Your Yes and No determine the direction of your life.
Clarity and boundaries about what truly serves you — and what doesn’t — gives you the strength to move through life with ease.
It is the strong foundation in decisions that serve your best interest,
that allows your heart to remain wide and open.

 Heart
4th Chakra

It is fluid, soft, and connecting — the bridge.
It nourishes and harmonizes the entire system.
In contact with everything, yet present in its own place —
framed by clear positioning (3rd chakra) and authentic self-expression (5th chakra).
It first wants to be in dialogue with all parts within you - not with everything on the outside.
It loves from the inside out, like a flower that blooms and unfolds.

The harmony of the heart arises from the desire to honor the rightful place of all things — and it is absolutely effortless.

 Expression
5th Chakra

Speech, thoughts, and actions are all in harmony with one’s own truth.
Clear positioning (3rd chakra) is freely expressed outwardly.
Equally important are listening, silence, and non-action.
Deciding what we want to consume and what not strengthens the true self.
We want to speak from our heart (4th chakra),
also in the inner dialogue with ourselves.

Clear intentions and trust in the inner voice and intuition (6th chakra) give us guidance in self-expression.

 Wisdom
6th Chakra

Intuition knows more than what we perceive through our primary senses.
Following inner wisdom allows a life that rises above pure logic and invites the wonders of life. Our brainwaves flow into a state that permits dreaming and boundlessness.

Here we find true inner silence and connection to our pure essence,
which prefers to rest within itself rather than be dazzled by the outside,  which chooses to remain in peace rather than get caught up in judgments. Only in this way are we able to let the divine core (7th chakra) flow into us.

The invisible awareness of all things
7th Chakra

We find everything within ourselves.

Feel your body from the inside, and become aware of the space that exists there. No matter where in the body, now you can allow this space to grow larger and wider, connecting it with infinity.
When we fully immerse our consciousness within ourselves,
we are immersed in the entire cosmos.
What do we want to fill this space with?

The crown chakra reminds us of our own crown,
which fills our entire being with dignity and light.
Here we find the absolute right to exist,
as both a human and sacred being.
Blessing rests upon us and in our infinite worth,
which has always been and always will be.
In this state, we cannot help but feel the same for everything around us.

As a farewell,
Azorean autumn colors.
