Mana is reflected in our inner imagination
and in the ability to dive within ourselves.
We learn once again to perceive in depth.

How horses communicate with us

They show us so clearly what sensitivity means.
They can sense exactly how you sit, how you breathe, what your body is expressing. How and where are your boundaries?

If you are fortunate enough to go riding and be carried by this beautiful animal through the untouched volcanic landscape, then they need your clear guidance.

In the best sense—for you, and for the beautiful Icelandic horse.

Seeing with the heart

When I closed my eyelids on the plane on the way back, I kept seeing the herd of Icelandic horses, freely and happily trotting together through the snow.

Likewise after surfing, as I fall asleep, the waves roll by one after another, peacefully passing me.

Isn't it fascinating that we all see things a little differently?

Not only do we perceive entirely different objects and colors, but also the depth of what appears before our eyes as light waves refracting. The universe offers us all kinds of energies that we can feel and perceive—
and yet, each of us sees something completely different.

Whether our gaze from within is calm, loving, and clear is something we choose—and with it, what we truly see and take in from the outer world.
Inner images shape our reality beyond the present moment, while also influencing how we will perceive in the future.

Our outer and inner eye serve as a medium that refracts light, allowing it to flow in and out—a bridge between inner and outer worlds.
Yet the holistic image—the one we experience in the body—is created by the brain, shaped by the feelings and inner images we already carry within us, and by how we use our awareness (which we can activate within the visual system through the higher visual cortex).

Clear vision and deep vision

We are often taught that it is important to see especially ‘clearly’—for example, to pass a driving test or to read the letters on a classroom board. But what does seeing in depth offer us beyond that?

Depth perception, on the other hand, invites us to widen our gaze, to take in the panorama, and instead of focusing narrowly to find a needle in a haystack, to receive the richness of life. Depth perception arises in a very different way within the visual system than clear vision—and, when looked at closely, it has no endpoint. In this way, we can perceive a little more each day, regardless of whether we can already “see clearly” in a factual sense, allowing our world to become a little larger.

The same happens when we look into our own heart with depth.
Instead of ever having explored everything and arriving at a final, “clear” picture, the opposite reveals itself… we see deeper—and deeper—and deeper.
And at the same time, the inner depth we are able to perceive begins to reflect in how we see the world—not clearer, not finally “understood,” but
 deeper—deeper—and deeper.
